MPG and Fuel Efficiency Advice
One of the greatest city cars available in the UK right now is the Suzuki Ignis, a small SUV. It carries on Suzuki's long history of producing compact, eccentric vehicles with surprisingly high off-road capability. But does all of this strangeness make for a good car? It may surprise you to learn that it does.
The Ignis, based only on its size, belongs to the city car class and is competitive with some of the tiniest and most intelligent vehicles available. Although there is fierce competition from the Hyundai i10, Fiat 500, and Toyota Aygo, these vehicles were created with the goal of being the pinnacle of smart city slicking.
The Suzuki Ignis has only one engine option, but it's an extremely efficient one because of its light weight and mild hybrid battery support.
Suzuki Ignis Fuel Consumption
With a combined fuel economy of 55.7 mpg, it is more efficient than the Volkswagen Up, Hyundai i10, or Kia Picanto. The Ignis' first-year tax cost is manageable due to its extremely low CO2 emissions, which are only 114g/km.
Both of the engine's additions have a detrimental effect on fuel economy. When a CVT transmission is installed, economy drops to 51.3 mpg and emissions rise to 124 g/km, compared to 51.9 mpg and 123 g/km for the AllGrip four-wheel drive system. Together, the two cannot be chosen.
The Suzuki Ignis defies the stereotype that compact cars belong to the lower end of auto insurance categories. The current SZ-T begins in insurance group 17, and the AllGrip begins in group 18, while some previous versions date back to the low teens.
With an amazing WLTP combined of 56.9 mpg, which translates quite precisely to real-world driving and is superior to certain important competitors, it should reward you with rather reasonable fuel economy.
At 112 g/km, CO2 emissions are likewise minimal, making taxation pleasant and affordable.
The fuel consumption of the Suzuki Ignis is shown below in both MPG (Miles Per Gallon) and km/L (Kilometers Per Litre). Both of these figures show you how far that particular Suzuki Ignis variant can travel for every gallon (4.55 litres) and every litre (1000ml) of fuel. The higher the MPG or km/L value, the more economical the car is and the cheaper it will be to run. This figure shows you the amount of fuel consumed in litres for every 100kms travelled. This is the most commonly used figure for showing the fuel consumption of a vehicle. The formula to calculate it is:
