Under the most recent WLTP regime, the following fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions figures apply:

• 141 mpg and 44 g/km for the 1.5 plug-in hybrid P300e with eight-speed auto and all-wheel drive

• Nine-speed automatic, all-wheel drive, 2.0 petrol MHEV P200: 29.2-31.9 mpg, 200-218 g/km

• Nine-speed automatic, all-wheel drive, 2.0 petrol MHEV P250: 29.2-31.8 mpg, 200-218 g/km

• Nine-speed automatic, all-wheel drive, 2.0 petrol MHEV P300: 29.2-31.3 mpg, 204-218 g/km

• Front-wheel drive 2.0 diesel D165 six-speed manual: 41.4-46.9 mpg/158-179 gkm

• Nine-speed automatic, all-wheel drive, 2.0 diesel MHEV D165: 40.8–44.3 mpg/167–182 gkm

• Nine-speed automatic, all-wheel drive, 2.0 diesel MHEV D200: 40.1-43.9 mpg/169-185 gkm

Jaguar Fuel Consumption

Like other cars, the E-Pace's statistics are dominated by plug-in hybrids. There are significant savings to be had if you plug in consistently, particularly if you don't travel far very often. Although they are expensive to fuel, petrol may make sense if you don't travel far. Although the more powerful engines (P250 and P300) provide a smooth turn of pace and are quiet and elegant, most people will prefer the more affordable, efficient, and torquey diesels.

It took a considerable number of highway trips for the P250 to attain 30 mpg during our testing period, which is surprising considering that a Range Rover D300 that weighs more than two tonnes can easily maintain this level.

Both of these figures show you how far that particular Jaguar E-Pace variant can travel for every gallon (4.55 litres) and every litre (1000ml) of fuel.
